But there are 3 absolutely crucial things regarding goal setting
that you are probably not doing right if you are like 97%
of the people...
Now, STOP for a second and imagine what you want to achieve in
the next year or two...
- Do you want to earn more money?
- Do you want to start your own business?
- Do you want to improve your family
life?
- Lose weight?
- Go on a three week vacation?
What if I told you that it is possible to increase your chances
of achieving your goals by 11 times?
Would You Be Interested To Know How?
Well read on and I will share 3 simple facts with you which can
totally transform your life.
As you know, goals are one of the most important things in life.
Probably the most important thing. But only if set properly... And
only a small percentage of people do it right... In fact, most people
make 3 major mistakes regarding goal setting.
And these 3 mistakes can cost you a lot! You could fail to achieve
a lot of goals and objectives. You could experience a lot of stress
trying to accomplish them. Many people get fired or end up with
their family life in chaos because of that. Many more never reach
their financial goals.
So what are these 3 mistakes about goal setting? Here they are...
1st Critical Mistake: You think you have
clear goals but in reality they are not clear and maybe they are
not even goals!
Let's make a test. Think about your 5 most important goals. What
are they?
Having trouble? Or do they sound like "I want to earn more"
or "I want to drive a BMW" or "I would like to have
a better relationship with my wife"? Well these are not goals.
These are merely nice wishes that don't mean anything. They have
no power. They don't motivate you. Properly set goals are
clear, measurable and in the present tense. Every very successful
person can tell you that. Let me give you some examples:
- On 1.1.2008 I own a 4 bedroom house with an outdoor pool.
- I spend one full weekend per month with my wife.
See the difference?
S many as 97% of people don't set goals or set them in the wrong
way. And that is why they never achieve anything and are unhappy
most of the time.
Do you want to be one of them?
2nd Critical Mistake: You have goals but
you don't write them down.
Did you know that the single act of writing your goals down increases
the chances of achieving them by 1,100%? Yes, that's right! You
can increase your chances of reaching your goals by 11 times
just by writing them down.
A survey done by a major newspaper asked people if they had achieved
their goals from the previous year. 46% of those who had written
down their goals did achieve them. And only 4% of those who didn't
have written goals achieved them. That's 11 times the difference!

but do it in pencil."

Every very successful person in the world has written goals! Ask
them if you don't believe it. So when you write down your goals,
they gain power. They become a part of you. When you write
down your goals it's like drawing up a contract with yourself. It
forces you to commit yourself to your goals.
So, do you have written goals?

between a goal and a dream is the written word."

3rd Critical Mistake: You don't imprint your
goals on your subconscious mind.
The stronger your goals are impressed in your subconscious mind,
the more you try to achieve them and the better chances you have
of accomplishing them.
That is why all successful people go through their goals every
day. Many of them also rewrite their goals every day. In order
that your goals imprint in your subconscious mind you have to see
them often. Preferably several times a day.

intensely we feel about an idea or a goal, the more assuredly
the idea, buried deep in our subconscious, will direct us
along the path to its fulfillment."
